1. State Insurance Commissioner:
Kentucky State Insurance Commissioner – We promote sound, competitive insurance markets; protect the public through effective enforcement and regulation; and empower the public through outreach and education.

In addition to the licensing of physicians the Board is responsible for reviewing and investigating all grievances filed against these individuals.
3. State Minority Office:
The office was charged with the primary responsibilities of ensuring that all minorities are better represented and receive equal access in the following areas of empowerment: economic development, education, healthcare, housing, government services and criminal justice matters.

Our job is to protect public health and welfare by developing and enforcing state laws governing the safe practice of nursing.
